Loadout Customization

Player's loadout represents the set of tools that the player will have available at the start of the run. This can be customized by the player and mainly consists of the following: 1.) Starting Deck: This will be the player's deck at the start of each run 2.) Side Deck: Players can make use of the side deck during the run 3.) Banner and Skill Tree: Skill trees will provide special abilities during the run

*Note: Summoner Master Legacy is still in development. The following information, especially specific rules, numbers and card descriptions, are subjected to change.

Element Selection

The player begins creating a loadout by selecting 2 elements that they wish to use in their deck. This will determine the elements of the cards that the player can use during deckbuilding, as well as the elements of the cards they will see during runs.

Starting Deck

The starting deck is the core of deckbuilding in Summoner Master Legacy. Players can customize the deck that they will use at the beginning of each run by modifying the starting deck.

There are 2 components which combine to form the starting deck:

1.) Base Deck: A set of basic cards, determined largely by the selected element 2.) NFT Cards: Player's NFT cards which can be added to the Base Deck

Base Deck

Once the player selects 2 elements, the base deck of 12 cards is automatically created based on the selected elements and will contain the following cards:

4x Universal Basic Seal 2x Element1 Basic Seal 2x Element1 Basic Mystic 2x Element2 Basic Seal 2x Element2 Basic Mystic

For example, if the selected element is Fire and Wind, then the contents of the base deck will be as follows:

Cards from the base deck cannot be removed prior to the run.

NFT Cards

Players can utilize their NFT cards by adding them to the base deck. The cards added must be from the chosen elements. The amount of NFT cards that can be added to the base deck is dependent on the player's Banner and Skill tree (Around 3-12 Cards in total).

Side Deck

In addition to the starting deck, players can utilize the side deck to aid them during a run. This is done mainly through the Reinforcement mechanic.

Reinforcements

As players progress through the run, players will often be given a "Reinforcement" opportunity. During such opportunity, players will be able to select a card from their side deck to add to their current run deck.

Limitations

Similar to the starting deck, players can utilize their NFT cards to customize their side deck. Unlike the starting deck, however, the side deck is comprised solely of the player's selected NFT cards.

Players can choose any card from the selected element to be added to their side deck. The size of the side deck is dependent on the player's Banner and Skill Tree.

When creating a loadout, the player must select the Banner they would like to use. Each banner comes with its own skill tree that provides players with unlocks, buffs and special abilities to be used during a run. Skills can also have an effect on deckbuilding limitations such as deck size. More information will be available in the "Levelling and Skill Trees" section.
