NFT Banners

NFT Banners are used to represent each player's identity in the SML universe. These play a key role in storing individual player's progression, enriching the gameplay experience and regulating the SML economy via the energy system. Similar to NFT cards, many factors can contribute to a banner's value, including but not limited to its gameplay utility, collection value and scarcity.

SML's NFT banners are defined by multiple traits that serve both in-game and out-of-game functions. On the NFT Level, banners are defined by: 1.) Unique ID 2.) Illustration 3.) Sigil 4.) Rarity 5.) Collection 6.) Level

Unique ID

Each NFT banner is assigned a unique id to be used as identification as each individual banner is unique.

Illustration

Illustration serves both aesthetic and functional purposes by communicating the identity of the NFT banner to the owner.

Sigil

Different banners can possess different abilities when they are used in the game. This ability can be identified by a banner's sigil which is shown in the banner's illustration.

Rarity

NFT banners are assigned to one of the 4 rarities: Common, Rare, Epic and Legendary. Banners that possess a higher rarity often mean that it is more difficult to obtain than those with a lower rarity.

Collection

NFT banners belong to a collection which identifies how/when a banner has been obtained/minted. These are mostly aesthetics and possess little to no gameplay implications.

Level

NFT Banners stores in-game progress as levels. Higher levels indicate more in-game benefits. This will be explained further in the gameplay section.
